Purple podded peas are growing nicely.
The flowers are quite pretty as well.
The pea plants are about three-quarters up the climbing frame and plenty of pods are being formed, though not yet plumping up very much. At this rate, I should have some fresh peas by Christmas.
The beans have begun to grow but haven't yet begun to climb.
Some of the plants below are bush beans, and therefore wont be climbing. I planted three types of beans - bush beans, beans blue lake, and a New Gippsland Heavenly Gold Climbing bean.
